Liv Parry

Liv is the Head of Portfolio of firstminute capital.

Liv leads portfolio talent as well as maximizing and managing our network of operators, executives, coaches and advisors. She joined firstminute to build a competitive talent and people operations playbook for the portfolio founders giving them an advantage much earlier in their scaling journey. She also founded Women Who Build, a community of future female technical leaders.

Liv was previously at Erevena, a global executive search firm specialised in working with VC backed tech businesses. She was a Principal partnering specifically with founders who had taken their first significant round of funding from a VC and were looking to make their first major leadership hires outside of the founding team. She started her career with Heidrick & Struggles focusing on pre-IPO and PE backed B2B SaaS scale-ups.

Liv was born and raised in Hong Kong until moving to Singapore where she spent her teenage years. She studied at the University of Exeter and holds a degree in English Literature with Chinese.

Away from work, she’s buying last minute tickets to theatre shows (sucker for a musical), trying to babysit other people’s dogs or trapped in a spin class. She’s unashamedly seen 6 different versions of The Greatest Showman.
