Liv Price
Liv is the Head of Talent of firstminute capital. She joined us to build a competitive talent and people operations playbook for our founders, to give them an advantage much earlier in their scaling journey.
She works closely with founders to establish the foundations of a solid people function and remains close to the businesses as they scale and face new challenges. The core people strategies include laying out the talent roadmap, framing organisational design, leadership guidance, future of work best practices, diversity approaches, development of internal talent, scaling your engineering team, and everything else in between.
She joined us from Erevena, a global executive search firm specialised in working with VC backed tech businesses. She was a Principal partnering specifically with founders who had taken their first significant round of funding from a VC and were looking to make their first major leadership hires outside of the founding team. Her clients ranged from quantum computing, B2B enterprise SaaS to climate tech, agritech and feminine health. She started her career with Heidrick & Struggles, (NASDAQ global exec search firm) focusing on pre-IPO and PE backed software clients.
She was born and raised in Hong Kong until moving to Singapore to spend her teenage years. She studied at the University of Exeter and holds a degree in English Literature with Chinese.
Away from work, she’s buying last minute tickets to theatre shows (sucker for a musical), trying to babysit other people’s dogs or trapped in a spin class. She’s unashamedly seen 6 different versions of The Greatest Showman.
