Arek Wylegalski

Arek has a broad investment focus and spends time across sectors and geographies. He looks particularly closely at enterprise software, commercial open-source software as well as deep-tech, blockchain, and gaming.

He was formerly with Index Ventures, where he was responsible for sourcing their Revolut, Culture Amp, Lithic and Dubsmash investments amongst others.

Prior to his work in venture capital, he was with Avenue Capital, a multi-strategy hedge fund, and Barclays Capital, where he worked in fixed income trading as well as in mergers and acquisitions advisory.

Arek would like to tell you that he is working all the time but on the rare occasion that he is not closing deals he can be found running or cycling around London, climbing up the Scottish highlands or visiting his hometown of Poznan!
